For two generations the Willmers crafted fine pipes from top quality briar. Their line included a selection of classical English shapes as well as some very fine freehand bowls. Some have compared the quality of their pipes to early Lane-era Charatans. While it is unclear whether Willmer continues to craft pipes in England, they are no longer imported into the USA.

The capacity of the bowl on this Medium size Bent Rhodesian is equivalent to a larger Group 2. This briar is filled with very nice grain. There are a couple of tiny sand pits, no fills. The draw hole is well centered at the base of the chamber. And with a slight twist, a pipe cleaner passes. This pipe feels great in the hand, is very well balanced and will be easy to hold in your jaw.

The thick walls of the bowl combined with its uncoated chamber will provide a fine, cool smoke from the start.

Willmer pipes provide a most satisfying and enjoyable smoke. I have two that I have used daily for 5+ years!
